Crispy cake


Ingrediente Covalact de Ţară
Sour cream
Butter

Ingredients for 4 servings:


For dough:

  • 1 glass of sour cream Covalact de Ţară
  • 100 g butter Covalact de Ţară
  • 2 tea spoons of rum
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tea spoon of grated orange peel
  • Flour as much as needed

For cream:

  • 150 g sugar
  • 50 g powder sugar
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 table spoons of rum
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 100 g crushed wall nuts
  • 50 g whole wall nuts (only the core)
  • Mint leafs

Preparation method:

Preparation time: 60 minutes


1. Mix in all the ingredients for dough adding flour as much as necessary to get consistent dough. Place the dough in a rectangular tray greased and dusted with flour. Put the tray into the preheated oven and leave the dough to bake for 25-30 minutes.

2. Meantime, caramelize the sugar and boil the milk with powder sugar.  Poor the milk on top of the “caramel and boil it until the caramel is fully melted, then add the rum and leave it to cool.

3. When the caramel sauce is completely cold, put in the whipped cream and the crushed wall nuts after placing them for a few minutes in the oven to roast. Poor in the cream you got over the dough and place whole wall nuts on top along with the fresh mint leaves.
