Kefir Covalact de Țară

Kefir is a dairy acid product resulted as a double fermentation of milk: lactic and alcoholic. It is obtained using lactic bacteria and yeasts. Kefir is a mild laxative and contains lecithin, a stimulant for the brain. It also helps in maintaining a balanced intestinal flora and a good digestion.

Detailed description
Traditionally kefir was made in natural membrane hanged by the door so that anyone who would pass would stroke it so that the milk and kefir grains to mix. It has a more sourly taste than Sour milk and Sana and it has a fat content of 3,3%, close to Sana.
